When the Canark team arrived in Alta vista and saw this beautiful but outdated home we knew we had our work cut out for us. We started by tearing down the old PVC deck in the back yard. We built a new stone raised patio out of Permacon building blocks. We used Melville grey colored bricks for the top of the patio and built a round seating area just off the bottom landing of the stairs. Because there was no machine access to the back the Canark team had to wheelbarrow close to 400 loads of gravel to fill the patio before we could lay any bricks. The customer chose a beautiful glass and metal railing combination for the patio. We drilled each post into the stone first before setting it in place. There was a lot of sweat put into this project but the customer was extremely happy with the end results. This project changed the entire look of their property. It’s like having a brand new home!
